Who I am

McKenzie Friend Support is run by Rebecca Claire, a McKenzie Friend based in North London. You can contact me about your data at rebecca@mckenziefriendsupport.co.uk.

What I collect

When you send a message or book a call, I collect the details you give me: your name, contact details, the court and dates involved, and anything you tell me about your case. That may include sensitive information about your family, your health or domestic abuse.

How I use it

Only to reply to you, arrange calls and, if you become a client, support you with your case. I never sell your information or use it for marketing without your permission.

Confidentiality and safeguarding

Everything you share is kept confidential. The only exception is where there is a safeguarding concern about a child or vulnerable adult. If that happens, I will talk to you first wherever it is safe to do so.

How long I keep it

Enquiries that don’t become cases are deleted within 12 months. Client records are kept for as long as needed to support you, and then deleted securely.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information I hold about you at any time. If you are unhappy with how your data is handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
